Yoga poses are great to strengthen and relax the body, but there is so much more to Yoga than a workout. Most of us are accustomed to looking outside of ourselves for fulfillment. Meditation is a powerful tool for enhancing stress management, pain relief, restful sleep, cognitive function, and physical and emotional well-being. SLOW FLOW YOGA – Tuesday, 11:15am -12:15am @ The Little House
Good choice for beginners. Gently align, strengthen and stabilize through soft motion and breathwork. Props and modifications offered for proper alignment and ease in the postures. Receive, flow, release, and be whole. Retirees and seniors welcomed. Come early for a guided meditation to center, and connect with your highest self.
MINDFULNESS YOGA – STARTING DECEMBER 2018 - Thursday, 5:30-7pm and Sunday, 9-10:30am @ The Little House
Catherine’s Mindfulness Yoga combines traditional postures, dynamic flow sequencing, mantra and breath-based meditation, and fun movement. This practice allows one to connect and align on a mental, physical, and astral level to their universal goals. Build strength in the body yet remain easeful in effort, achieve mental brilliance yet peace, and find social independence yet purpose. The class is open to all students reminding us that we can intelligently choose our level of complexity.

Paid for by the City & County of San Francisco, Catherine teaches Yoga for the employees, and the residences of San Francisco City. Family camp has 500 new campers every week who can enjoy Yoga during their stay at Mather.
