This interactive Yoga 101 & Beyond workshop will offer aspiring and developing Yogi's the opportunity to explore Yoga asana (physical postures), pranyama (berating techniques) and philosophy. We will delve into Yoga's origins, meaning and purpose as we explore new body movements that encourage balance, strength and stability in the body, mind and heart. Emphasis will be placed on proper posture alignment, understanding what and why we practice, and developing awareness to increase mind body connection while engaging our senses to strengthen our focus. This course will meeting the needs of introductory yogis and offer more depth to intermediate students. Practices and will include teachings and offerings of some of Yoga's most sacred practices such as meditation, mantra, restorative Yoga, crystals and singing bowls.
